First I would like to thank you for checking out my page.

I have to thank my family for giving me a base platform of creativity. My mum is an artist in her own right and I have always enjoyed her work, at least what little I have been able to see. She has not always been able to pursue her artistic endeavors as much as she would like but it is forever present. Whenever I visit there are elements, tools, drawings, wool, etc. scattered throughout the house. My uncle Paul is a fantastic photographer, the only problem is that he lives in Perth, Australia so I have not been able to spend much time picking his brain. Both he and my aunt work at Curtin University. I was never taught any artistic skills by my family I merely observed them.

I am originally from England. Born around a small town named Bury St. Edmunds. A place famous for it gardens, the abbey ruins, beer from the Greene King Brewery (some of the best beer in the world in my biased opinion), and of course British Sugar. I spent the majority of my younger years in Greenville, SC after living in Oxford, NC and North Hollywood, CA. I attended the University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS!!) and received a bachelors degree in Business Administration/MIS. A completely useless degree unless you choose to pursue an MBA. Seeing as I could barely stomach the idea of attending classes in such a boring and structured manor the MBA path was out. I have since been working endless jobs as a means to pay bills and help fund my hobbies (Travelling, Scuba, Geekery, and Photography).

I am not sure exactly when the realization that I enjoyed photography happened. The idea that we can point this device in the general direction of an object and use ridiculously complex technology to capture something that is created in the natural world almost effortlessly is just exciting to me. I just started to take shots and people were always saying "you have a great eye". I am fully aware that I have MUCH learning to do in order for this to become more than a hobby. I am also extremely content with it staying a hobby. If it became a job I fear I would lose interest and latch onto another outlet.

Enough rambling, if you would like to know more about me or my work feel free to email me from the Contact page or look me up through the many Links.
